BRISTOLS No.1 RARE RECORD SHOP *Item for sale* THE KINKS ~ Kontroversy ~ UK PYE 1st press MONO NPL 18131 LP
NPL18131A-1 S / NPL181331B-1 S
This is a clean copy of the "Kontroversy", by The Kinks, Mono UK first pressing.
The front cover is beautifully clean, the spines all crisp, the rear unlaminated
cover very lightly soiled, the nicest cover we've seen in many years. The labels
are both clean, you can make out a number of spindle marks, so it's been
played a bit, but the sound remains punchy and bright. Both vinyl surfaces have
some evidence of a few hairlines, nothing deep, nothing that sounds. The
playback isn't mint, but it's not far from it, very little in the way of pop and
ticks, nothing that distracts from the listening, really nice sound and goes
without saying a great album.
