Description
The Kinks - A side - Long Tall Sally - B side - I Took My Baby Home - 7" single - 7N.15611
Recorded 1964 on Pye. Original sleeve included.
Plays well both sides, very good/excellent condition. The sleeve is in good condition with the name of the artist and song title written on the front (by me 55 years ago!)
Debut single by the Kinks purchased by me in 1964 after watching them support the Rolling Stones in Romford. Rare single.
Centre intact.
One of 5 Kinks singles that I am listing today.
Grading - All my records have been played and will be from 30 to 70 years old. I listen to both sides before listing and try not to overgrade them in order to avoid disappointing a buyer. The most common grades will be good or very good defined as:
Very good - Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches that will affect the sound. Sleeves or LP covers may be marred by writing or have tape attached.
Good - Record can be played through without skipping but will have surface noise, scratches, and groove wear. While the record will be playable without skipping, noticeable surface noise will almost certainly accompany the playback. The cover or sleeve may have splits. Tape, writing, or other defects may be present.
