Description
THE KINKS 12" LP MUSWELL HILLBILLIES, 1971, 1st edition on RCA LSP-4644, USA Import. THE KINKS first RCA Album after LOLA, now regarded as Ray Davies finest song writing hour. Contains 20th Century Man / Skin and Bone / Alcohol and more highlights. Near mint presentation of vinyl and fold out cover, which unusually is a left opening album. This item is the original release of 1971, however it is Mega Rare since there is a label misprint, both sides are labelled Side 1, listing titles and songs identically on 1 and 2 although the pressed music is correct and one side plays side 1 and the other side plays side 2. A hand-written correction in red ink is on the misprinted side 2. The vinyl disk is a thin "Dynaflex" type as promoted by RCA at the time, original inner sleeve boasting about it. The original plastic sticker of the song's titles is still on the back of the cardboard cover, as per photo. Outstanding condition of this very rare item, for true collectors.
