Description

I have collected records since I was very young, however Iincreasingly I have realised that I have far too many, and soI have been slowly trying to rationalise my extensive collection over the years, I have sold many major rarities over the years, from major BEATLES and 60s rarities, through PUNK and PROG ROCK, CLASSICAL and BLUES. Basically I've had alot of very rare records and in dribs and drabs have sold them off. I've never had negative feedback, and had many repeat customers.
I will only post completely insured and tracked.
THE KINKS RARE Drivin'/Mindless Child Of Motherhood UK 1969 Arthur Pye 7N.17776 Driving
Here we have one of The Kinks rarest (possibly the rarest late 60s domestic single) singles. And also one of their absolute best! Drivin' a superb track taken from the only more recently lauded classic LP Arthur, must be a highlight track of the 60s, even if it was overlooked at the time, and therefore sold very, very poorly,as did the albumit was on. However that makesit very desirable now with collectors, great track + great band + sold in very small numbers= very desirable single now!
Record Condition: EX- Beautiful surfaces with just a few extremely light surface/hairlines only reallyvisible when angled correctlyinto strong, direct light. Really wonderfully clean audio!
Labels: VG The B-side is really nice, especially for these very vulnerable late 60s light blue Pye labels, showing only very light wear, the A-side sadly brings the grade down a fair bit, as the previous owners has helpfully written "A" a few times on it in ball-point pen. Apart from that, these labelsare very nice, as is the playing surface, so a great playing copy, and nice B-side label, so if you can look past the "A"s on the A-side label, you can get yourself a very nice copy of a rare single!
