THE KINKS - 'THE KINKS ARE THE VILLAGE GREEN PRESERVATION SOCIETY' Stereo. (1968).
First UK pressing on the pale blue PYE labels.

EX(+) sleeve. Record in EX+/NM condition. Incredible copy! One of the first and best 'concept albums'.

(Camera shows shadow at top of each pic, and some glare. Label colour is in fact consistent).

Amazing UK copy of this rare and sought after Kinks LP.

Original UK LP issue on PYE label. NSPL 18233 (Mono sleeve, with Stereo LP. Sticker may have been removed from rear of sleeve?)
Some laminate lift by the front spine. Slight crease (not bad at all) to the top right of the fragile front gatefold.

I have no need to use the words MEGA, ULTRA, or c**p on about how many of these LPs got trashed at parties. I try to avoid exhaustive usage of exclamation marks in my honest descriptions and I also avoid the over-use of CAPITAL letters (unless they are used for relevant emphasis to my auction description) and I do not wish to shout at my buyers. I know that you know about the records you wish to purchase. One other thing - I do not sell items which have had the opening edges of the cover trimmed by a guillotine or blade to make the covers appear in better condition. Some other sellers do this as a regular practice, and it's just not on.
