Description
Selling from my personal collection, original and rare first UK mono pressing of The Kinks' 'Village Green Preservation Society' LP, Pye NPL 18233 (1968). Laminated gatefold/flipback sleeve.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl and has blue and black Pye labels. The matrix numbers are:
NPL 18233 A-['13W' crossed out] 3W on side 1
NPL 18233 B-3W on side 2.
See pictures for condition of sleeve. Some creasing and crinkling and delaminating of the laminated surface, as you'd expect for a record of this age; spine partially flattened but intact, except at very ends, and text is all clear/readable. The flipback is fully attached, though has some wear to bottom edge, as do all the corners. The labels are clean with a few light spindle marks.
The vinyl itself has some light scuff marks and a few light scratches. Did a test listen before listing and it plays right through with no jumps, and no repeated/loud clicks. Sounds good, some surface noise/crackles, particularly between tracks and in quiet segments, but very listenable.
Will be packaged and sent using quality record mailers with inserts.
PayPal only please.
