Title: YOU STILL WANT ME
YOU DO SOMETHING TO ME
Country of Origin: AUSTRALIA Year of Release: 1964 Record Condition: VG++ Cover Condition: Company Sleeve
Comments:
Legendary rare original 1964 Australian Single Release by THE KINKS!
Record is in very good heading towards excellent Condition with only some very fine Hairlines, some but only very light Scuffing as well as some expected light general Agewear discernable. Vinyl is still very shiny.
Labels are in in still quite excellent Condition except for a small Texta Mark on A-Side Label.
Single is housed in it's original Company Sleeve.
This is the original 1964 Australian Single Isssue of THE KINKS featuring their legendary rare Double-Header "You Still Want Me" on the A-Side and "You Do Something To Me" on the B-Side!
Single is still housed in it's original Company Sleeve which is collectable in it's own right!
This particular Single was issued in England before the Release of "You Really Got Me" and sank without Trace, making it an instant Collectors Item!
In Australia the Single was issued as a Follow-up to "You Really Got Me" but failed to make a Dent in the Charts here as well and disappeared very quickly.
Needless to tell you that this has become the rarest and most collectable of all KINKS Singles in the World and the One missing in most Collections!
Australian Copies of this Single, in particular, are virtuallly never seen for Sale these Days, especially in still such really nice Shape!
This is the first Time ever that I had a Copy for Sale and it is quite a Beauty, especially considering it's Age and Rarity and will definitely fill one of the biggest Hole in Someone's KINKS Collection!
With the Record in this still quite highly collectable Condition an absolute Must-Have for any serious Record Collector of THE KINKS!
A quint-essential Addition to any Collection of 60's GARAGE Singles Rarities!
