THE LEGEND s/t Rare original garage punk psych lp DRAGONFLY M-

1968/Cdn/Reo RPL 697….. here’s a clean original Canadian pressing of this rare psych lp. The thick cover is in strong VG+ to VG++ condition with a delete hole near the centre of the cover, light ring wear on front, light corner bumps/wear, otherwise clean and solid with no splits. The vinyl is in excellent to M- condition with some minor light storage inaudible storage wear spots/blemishes. The Mono record looks and plays clean with little noise. I don’t think it has been played much. Looks and plays clean. Labels have a drill hole, otherwise clean. A nice copy here! Please check my auctions for other rock and psych lp's. Offering up a mixture of band originals and popular covers (Bob Dylan, The Troggs, The Who), musically the set wasn't particularly original, but had more than its share of charms.  With Corso and Brooks/Romans credited with half the material, tracks such as 'The Sky That Is Blue', 'Zepplin's Good Friday' and 'Yesterday's Child' showcased a tasty blend of tight, Bealtesque harmonies and surprisingly commercial melodies.  It certainly wasn't perfect with the band occasionally drifting too close to The Left Banke, or Mamas and Papas-styled MOR ('Sunny Day' and 'Gigi').  Far more impressive were their stabs at a harder rock sound, including the fuzz guitar and feedback propelled 'Where Oh Where Is Mother' and their vox-powered cover of Dylan's 'Baby Blue' 

GRADING

MINT: I consider New Unplayed or Sealed items only.

M- or Mint Minus, very clean with clean visual appearance and sound, there may be a couple of light inaudible hairline scuffs or such and will be mentioned in the listing, a Mint- record looks and plays very clean. Same for the cover. Very clean with no delete or other issues.

EXCELLENT: still very collectable for most, visually and sonicly clean. A handful of light inaudible scuffs, or hairlines. Cover will be clean with little wear, or delete. No splits.

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal wear, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much. Cover will have slight shelf wear, and or delete, minor split.

VG+ the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects.
