The Libertines

Rarest Libertines vinyl you will ever see - a true unique slab of wax!

Where do I start with this one? There is not another record out there like this one. It came straight from a contact at Rough Trade UK and should have been destroyed after pressing. It was a test pressing solely used for label alignment and was designed to be cast away after use. As you can see from the images, the centre labels have been pressed very misaligned, in fact the side 1 label is actually covers the last track and the sid 2 label has been pressed over the last 2 tracks! It is not an acetate - it is the actual album and will play but good luck on those last tracks! It is the real deal - the genuine UK Rough Trade 1stpressing (quite possibly the very 1st copy ever pressed!!!) with the 'RTRADLP 166' Matrix. As you will be aware, this is a very serious record and will not be bought to play (although it will!). You will never see another so don't miss this one because once it's gone its gone. Bearing in mind the unique status of this record there will not be a BIN price on this one so please dont ask. It is auction only and will start at GBP 3 and will have NO reserve so the winning bid gets it!

I am reluctantly selling my Libertines vinyl collection, it includes 2 of the 10 promo test pressings of The Libertines, other rare UK test pressings, signed records and tons more. This has taken me over 10 years to accumulate, right from the bands first gigs to present. It will all be listed along with tons of other very rare records over the coming months on UK & Australian eBay.

This record is now located in Australia and as such the postage will be GBP 20 to ship to the UK and the rest of the world. Postage in Australia will be a flat $12.
