Product Description
THE LIVING END was recorded live during the Husker Du's last tour in October 1987.
Husker Du: Bob Mould (guitar, vocals); Greg Norton (bass, vocals); Grant Hart (drums, vocals).
Includes liner notes by David Fricke.
Recorded in 1987 but not released until '94, THE LIVING END features performances from Husker Du's final tour, capturing the pioneering Minneapolis-based alternative-rock act just before its demise. Highlights of the concert album include an emotive take on "Hardly Getting Over It" and a fast, loose version of the Ramones' "Sheena Is a Punk Rocker," both of which showcase Bob Mould and Grant Hart's vocal simpatico.
