Original 1969 U.S. stereo press of LP on Poppy label
The Mandrake Memorial titled "Medium"
CONDITION:
unipak gatefold cover: VG+
lite shelf wear/soiling ~lite wear/fray to corners ~ a couple of nicks to edges
lite fray at upper spine for approx 1 1/2" ~ lite ring shows mostly on back
vinyl : VG+
a bit of lite groove wear on some of the cuts ~ numerous lite surface marks
lite surface scratches & smudges ~ all superficial surface ~ nothing deep at all
plays with numerous occasional lite clicks & quite a bit of lite surface noise &
lite surface crackle in quite a few places

"Fuzz, Acid & Flowers"
....Medium is the group's first real excursion into the world of psychedelia.
Overall, it is less consistent but possibly more interesting than their earlier effort.
Of particular interest is the opening track on side 2, the haunting After Pascal,
which has an unusual psychedelic intro, and the fuzztone guitar work
on Smokescreen. Another track Barnaby Plum has an unusual
psychedelic intro and a pleasant autoharp piece in the middle.
