There are a few seam splits on the inner sleeves, none on the main sleeve.

De-Loused In The Comatorium is the debut full-length from Texas-based The Mars Volta. Originally released back in June of 2003, this album is based around a short story written by lead singer Cedric Bixler-Zavala and sound manipulation artist Jeremy Michael Ward. De-Loused In The Comatorium is the tale of Cerpin Taxt, a man who enters a week-long coma after overdosing from a mixture of morphine and rat poison. The story itself actually alludes to the death of El Paso, Texas artist and friend – Julio Venegas.
This is the only The Mars Volta album to feature founding member Jeremy Michael Ward, as he was found dead of an apparent heroin overdose only a month before the album’s release. It’s also worth mentioning that for this particular record Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers has stepped in to play bass as Eva Gardner had departed from the band.
