Extremely rare to find this LP on DIP Label, DLPD 6002, circa 1975.
An original pressing on the DIP label, this is one of the rarest and most sought-after Upsetter albums around. This album consolidated Lee Perry as one of the finest dub masters in Jamaica. His originality and use of special effects makes this a must for any reggae/dub collection. This is a wild dub album that pays homage to Bruce Lee movies, with Lee Perry delivering funky and spooky Upsetter instrumentals. The Upsetters are joined by Augustus Pablo and Earl 'Chinna' Smith to deliver a great vibe. This is the first of three in a trilogy including Musical Bones and Return Of Wax.Both labels and vinyl are very clean, record plays really well with only 2 very minor clicks heard, otherwise looks and plays in mint condition.
