LABELS: NEAR MINT
Clean and unmarked labels - spindle hole still tight - I think my play-check was the first time this record has ever been on a turntable
VINYL Visual: VERY GOOD (MINT)
Difficult one to grade. The surfaces have numerous marks but these are all in-vinyl blemishes from manufacture and not later wear - in my opinion this copy looks just as it would have done brand new in 1966 and these marks are harmless
VINYL Audio: NEAR MINT
But as already stated, like-new. There is an occasional isolated click and a touch of surface between some of the tracks but only of the kind present on brand new vinyl which has not been cleaned and I am sure any audio issues will be resolved after a clean and a few spins. The sound is great - lovely MONO cut - crystal clear, razor sharp, fresh and immediate. Overall, a superb copy and how many unplayed albums from 1966 do you think are still out there? (and it's a fantastic LP as well! - a much underrated "Brit Invasion" classic)
SLEEVE: NEAR MINT
A fine, crisp, clean and sharp sleeve - deep gloss to the front laminate - very clean white back - no creases or edge/spine wear to speak of
INNER SLEEVE: EXCELLENT
Some age-related discolouration but no seam splits
