This early pressing plays to a very high standard with only minimal background.  As always I have played every track in full and overall the clarity and depth of the audio is superb.  The only real intrusion is some light dull ticks during 'The Word' on S2 but it's only a very brief spoken track anyway!  The vinyl is in excellent shape with only a couple of minor marks and clearly has not been over-played.
The gatefold is in superb condition with very little wear and the blue stereo poly-lined inner is in great shape also.  It is dated 7-72 so I'm not entirely sure if it is the original.  I guess it could be!

The audio on S1 is Mint(-) (T1 Ex+ / T5 intro Near Mint-)
The audio on S2 is Near Mint (T2 & T6 Mint- / T5 Ex-)
The gatefold is Ex+   The poly-lined inner sleeve is Ex+
The Deram labels are Mint-
Visual description
The vinyl is in excellent condition and still has a strong glossy sheen and under a bright light I can only see a few very faint hairlines.  S2 does have one very small faint blemish and there is also one very small thumbnail type scratch but it doesn't affect the much.  The Deram labels are in superb shape with no marking and only minimal spindle wear.
Play Grading
The beginning of the intro on 'Departure' plays with perfect clarity and as the volume increases during the poem there is a very quiet static sound once per revolution but it is non-intrusive in my opinion.  I will say Ex+ and I hope I haven't under-graded it!
The segue into 'Ride My See-Saw' is 'as new' and the vocal section then plays to the same high end standard.  The clarity, depth and warmth of the audio is phenomenal the brief instrumental passage is equally as strong and clear.  The final vocal is faultless as is the fade out.  This is Mint from start to finish.
'Dr. Livingstone, I Presume' again plays with stunning quality through every section.  There is no interference and I only 'heard' a couple of barely audible statics.  Let's say Mint-
'House Of Four Doors' plays with stunning precision from the get go.  The quiet intro has not one dust tick even and the opening vocal section is on the same level.  The first chorus is so clean and melodic and the following quiet instrumental plays beautifully with only one minor static.  The next vocal has no interference and the harpsichord section is perfect.  The remainder has no background aside from a static sound right at the end of the fade out.  Mint-
The intro on 'Legend Of A Mind' has 3/4 minor statics at the start and then Thomas's opening vocal plays with sublime clarity and depth.  It continues in the same way and even the quiet flute interlude plays with exceptional quality as does the rest of this instrumental section.  The playback is STUNNING!  The power and depth cannot be faulted - every note is so clean and precise.  The following vocal is superb and the closing instrumental has no intrusion either.  If the intro is Near Mint- then the rest has to grade as Mint- as a minimum.  No need for the minus really.
'House Of Four Doors (Part 2)' ends the side with genuine quality once more.  I noticed just the one mega quiet tick on the intro and that's it, nothing else!  The clarity and warmth of the audio is again of the highest calibre and it grades as Mint-
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The gentle intro on 'Voices In The Sky' plays with great clarity and Hayward's opening vocal is close to that with only a couple of light ticks.  The first chorus is perfect and from then on it plays with impeccable clarity and depth, there is nothing getting in the way of the audio.  I often think fade outs are a good indicator of how clean a record is and the fade out here has no background at all.  A Near Mint version.
'The Best Way To Travel' has only the bare minimum of very light static on the intro and then Pinder's first vocal has no intrusion whatsoever.  The brief silence / instrumental that follow play with incredible clarity and there are only a couple of minor statics towards the end.  The next vocal is as good as the first and the remainder of this superb psychedelic track plays without fault.  I'll say Near Mint but the vast majority is better than that.
'Visions Of Paradise' once again shows how infrequently this vinyl has been played.  There is no interference and the clarity and warmth of the audio is sensational.  A couple of barely audible statics no more.  Mint-
'The Actor' is so close to perfect.  The clarity, depth and warmth of the audio and the only background is a handful of very quiet static ticks about one minute from the end but nothing intrusive.  Near Mint
The only issue with 'The Word' is a quiet dull tick throughout the most of it but aside from that it plays very clearly with no background static.  Ex-
'Om' concludes the album in fine style with superb sonic quality from start to finish.  The clarity of sound is astounding.  There are a number of quiet sections and yet there is no intrusion whatsoever.  Beatles-esque you could say with a strong sitar presence and it plays so well!  Pinder's lead vocal is so clean and the backing vocals are just as strong.  A superb track to end with a Mint- is well deserved.  The long fade out is STUNNING!
The Gatefold & Inner Sleeve
The laminated Robert Stace cover is in lovely condition with very little wear and nothing stands out.  The edges are so clean and the spine only has a fold crease line running down the centre.  All the corners are in exceptional condition and the opening edges have only minimal handling wear.  The front cover has just one small laminate crease in the lower right corner and the back cover has only a couple if minor spots.  The inside of the gatefold of course is not laminated and remains extremely white no marking as such, just a handful of tiny specks.  A superb example overall.
The blue stereo poly-lined inner sleeve is in great condition with no side splits or tears, very little marking and only some light creasing.

Postage & Packaging

I will only send items items worldwide via tracked shipping.  This provides 'peace of mind' in case of loss or damage.  The shipping costs are shown below and combined shipping is always offered.  Any over-payment will always be refunded.

The Royal Mail only insure up to a value of £250 so if an item sells for more it may be wise to use a courier service (e.g. Parcelforce or DPD).  An extra insurance premium will be required but I will not know the exact amount until the final sale price is known.  Because of this I will sometimes have to estimate the cost and this will be shown in the listing.  Please wait for the invoice before making payment and if you have any questions please feel free to ask.  Many thanks.

All vinyls are packaged in strong over-sized custom made mailers with plenty of extra cardboard protection.  They are placed inside separate poly-lined inners outside the cover so as to avoid seam splits in transit and then placed inside a PVC sleeve to provide even more protection.  I pride myself on my high quality packaging as my feed confirms and if any customer has any specific requirements I am more than happy to help.

The mailers I use cost £1.00 each and I will use anything between 3-5 cardboard stiffeners which cost approx £0.18 each.  There is also the cost of the poly-lined inner and PVC sleeve to consider, it all adds up!  Not forgetting that eBay take 10% of the shipping fee also!!
