Australian DECCA mono LKA 4711
One of the truly great albums from the British R & B boom of the 1960s.
The Moody Blues 1st album with Denny Laine up front on guitar and lead vocals was more a soul band band than anything else.
The bands originals sat so nicely alongside amazingly good covers of James Brown, Chris Kenner, Bessie Banks songs that it really was seamless.
On top of that their version of Sonny Boy Williamson's Bye Bye Bird is a rave up that would not be out of place on any Yardbirds LP
