Description

A rare and beautiful original UK first pressing vinyl copy of The Move's brilliant third LP, Looking On, from 1970 on Fly.
This amazingly early copy (1-G/1-R mother stampers) with its gorgeous fully laminated single sleeve and hardly played vinyl will, I am certain, be hard to better.
Both sides of this EX+ disc look blemish-free, even when examined under harsh halogen lighting. It is perfectly possible that this disc may only ever have been played a couple of times - certainly I can detect only one light spindle mark on either label.
The fully laminated MacNeill Press single sleeve is a well cared for EX- with no writing, rips or sticker tears and just a little waviness, some light creasing here and there, laminate lift near the spine, some indentations and some slight edge/corner wear.
In all a very tasty example of a fabulous LP which was unfairly overlooked when it appeared and is now rather scarce. "Not many people were interested in The Move by the time this came out", says RMJ in Galactic Ramble, "which is a shame, because it successfully follows the pattern started by Shazam - dense, heavy, prog rock ... and people would kill each other for copies if it was by an obscure band".
