Description
Excellent and very rare 45 by The Natural Truth. Songs are: "Marriage Ain't A Game To Play" and "Where Do We Go From Here". Original US issue on Embee Records #701. Condition is Mint- (9) one super light scuff mark on "Where Do We Go From Here side. An excellent early 70's rarity, Marriage Ain't A Game is an exuberant up-tempo dancer with deep male lead vocals and superb female backing voices blending the best elements of floorshakin' gospel influence with a moving soulful steppin arrangement. Where Do We Go From Here has a nice female lead vocal, starts off in a slow groove and picks up about 1/4 to half the way through becoming a great mid-tempo shuffler with nice horns and strings and some great female backing harmonies.
Grading Scale:
10: Mint Perfect record, clean gloss, no marks, beautiful in every way. Very few records will make mint.
9: Mint- Very clean, only a few light marks. A great record.
8: Excellent (VG++) Condition between 7 and 9.
7: VG+ Used, but not abused. Light scratches only. Should play, and look very nice with minimal surface noise.
6: VG Still a nice record. Looks a bit used, light scratches, no gouges, still plays well, some surface noise.
5: VG- A bit rough but will play ok. Fills the collection.
4: G Plays very rough. Has multiple scratches. What a bargain!!
