CONDITION: (vinyl/cover) VG+/VG+ ***NICE COPY!*** (Please read detailed information below!)

Obscure Swedish Xian psych produced by Bo Winberg of ASOKA-fame. Anders Kjellberg later joined forces with VATTEN and MOUNT EVEREST among others. The album contains some nice dreamlike organ-parts mixed with gospel. The real highlight here is the track “He is there”, which with its repetitive rhytm,  haunting choirs, fuzz-solo and moaning organ, by far is the most psychedelic track ever to emerge on the label.

COVER; the laminated cover is in really nice condition, with just some insignificant creasing round the edges and spine. Bottom left corner has some light wear and there is a very, very faint beginning of ringwear, slightly more evident on back, but only visible from some angles. The cover gets a VERY GOOD PLUS-grading, but is very close to NEAR MINT.

VINYL; when held under strong light some thin hairlines appear, slightly more evident on side A. This side gets a visual VERY GOOD-grading, whilst side B gets a VERY GOOD PLUS-grading. There is some light, distant crackle during playback, which mostly is drown in the music. The vinyl gets a VERY GOOD PLUS-grading as a whole.

 

LABELS; both labels are pretty clean, with just some rubbing at the centrehole and a small amount of light spindlemarks.

 

EXTRA; comes with the original company-innersleeve in decent condition.

I use GOLDMINE GRADING STANDARDS – MINT/NEAR MINT/VERY GOOD PLUS/VERY GOOD/GOOD/POOR. The grading MINT (M) is hardly ever used - and at that umcommon occasion - NOT used improperly. NEAR MINT (NM) means NEAR MINT both visually and audible! VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) is the same as EXCELLENT (EX) in other grading systems. My ambition is to provide an as accurate description as possible and I do not try hide any defects or other flaws on the record and cover. GOLDMINE GRADING STANDARDS


MINT ---- It should appear to be perfect. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains, labels or writing, tears or splits. Mint means perfect.


NEAR MINT ---- Otherwise mint but has one or two tiny inconsequential flaws that do not affect play. Covers should be close to perfect with minor signs of wear or age just becoming evident: slight ring-wear, minor denting to a corner, or writing on the cover should all be noted properly.


VERY GOOD PLUS ---- The record has been handled and played infrequently or very carefully. Not too far from perfect. On a disc, there may be light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of a sleeve or the vinyl or some of the original lustre may be lost. A slight scratch that did not affect play would be acceptably VG+ for most collectors.


VERY GOOD ---- Record displays visible signs of handling and playing, such as loss of vinyl lustre, light surface scratches, groove wear and spindle trails. Some audible surface noise, but should not overwhelm the musical experience. Usually a cover is VG when one or two of these problems are evident: ring wear, seam splits, bent corners, loss of gloss, stains, etc.


GOOD ---- Well played with little lustre and significant surface noise. Despite defects, record should still play all the way through without skipping. Several cover flaws will be apparent, but should not obliterate the artwork.


POOR ---- Any record or cover that does not qualify for the above "Good" grading should be seen as Poor. Several cover flaws
