This record is in excellent+ condition. It has a few light spindle marks visible on the labels but these are very faint and only visible under bright light. There are no pen marks, scuffs or fading but there are a few incredibly minor faint 'age spots' on side 2. The centres are not loose and overall the labels are in great shape with nothing at all major to report.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are very clean overall, have a vivid gloss and have little visible in normal light with just a few incredibly minor wispy lines visible. These and a few more show under very bright white light, but there is not a drastic amount and nothing remotely sinister. The record has no nasty scuffs, marks or serious blemishes and has a lovely vivid shine.
I play tested the record and it plays very well and sounds great throughout. It appears to lay flat but upon playing there is a slight 'bob' or some upward movement in the record arm on both sides. It is worse on side 2 with side 1 having a far smaller amount noticable. It nevertheless has some movement on both sides and so it must have a minor warp to it. This is pretty minor however and has no affect on the audio produced which is excellent and has little interference throughout both sides. Its crisp, dynamic and really clear with only the most minimal trace of surface noise in the run in and very occasionally between some tracks or near silent sections. There is no distortion caused by excessive use and of course there are no skips, sticks or major annoying clicks/pops. The only thing I noted interference wise was a series of around 5 or 6 audible clicks at the very, very end of side 2. These occur in the final stages of the last track and can be heard, but luckily are right at the end just before the final 'drumroll'. Other than these, which are not ideal but not major, it was a quality audio experience, was a pleasure to play test and is just a shame about the minor visual arm movement issue. If you would like to see a video of the record playing to get an understanding of the level of movement I will happily supply this, just ask.
The gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition. It has light rubbing/wear to the edges and corners, but they are all strong with no splits or weak areas anywhere. The worst of the wear is on the top edges where there is rubbing to around 40-50%, but this hasn't caused them to weaken much and overall the sleeve is strong all round. There are no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere and only a slight ring mark showing in parts on the back. There is little to no creasing and only a hint of fading and general age related grubbiness. Overall it is clean, bright and in great shape. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible on its condition.
It includes its original plain white inner which is in very good condition. This has a 2.5" split to the bottom edge and some general grubbiness, creasing and mild discolouring. There are no tears, scuffs or pen marks however. I will included the original but will send the record in a brand new plain white replacement.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
