THE NIPS - BOPS 'N' BOOZE - BRAND NEW - SEALED MINI ALBUM.
Fantastic quality mini album from one of the most creative and inspiring punk band's of all time.
The Nips just didn't care, in true punk style they formed on a spur of the moment whim when Punk yob about town Shane MacGowan energised by seeing The Sex Pistols and Clash wanted a piece of the action for himself.
After trying his hand at a Sniffin Glue type fanzine called Bondage he gave up when he couldn't find a photocopier and hand writing each individual zine was impossible so surely a band would be much easier.
Eventually the Nipple Erectors were assembled and Shane began writing songs, the band gigged and became know locally as a live wire act mainly because Shane was so unpredictable, one thing they had in spades though was energy with gigs being a full on affair.
This release captures the bands early studio recordings and is filled with the electric energy of the original band, it features 8 essential tracks performed by the classic lineup.
The album sleeve is in MINT condition as is the record which remains SEALED inside.
I do not know the colour of the vinyl and will not open it to find out.
A fantastic must have album for any serious Nipple Erectors / Nips / Shane MacGowan / Pogues / Punk rock collector.
