"LAURA'S GARDEN" / "LAVENDER GIRL"
7" on the UK original COLUMBIA RECORDS *DEMO* lable DB 8311 from 1967
The other of their rarest singles, this nice soft-psych record heralded the flower-power sixties hippyness. Floral references were abounding, though Orange Bicycle were perhaps more imaginative with this issue.
Mood evoking pastoral psych on two sides, from a relatively unknown band at the time.
We just aren't going to see a record like this at the record fair - "we don't see that stuff any more" is what the sellers all repeat.
It's the original DEMO and in really lovely condition all round.
The vinyl is in respectable EX+ condition, wonderful shine and plays great.
The lables are VG++, small pen on the 'A' side lable (see pic)
