The Orb’s debut long player from 1991 celebrates its 25th anniversary this year… and what better way to mark it than with this sumptuous 4-LP set? An ambient dance odyssey packed with a wealth of memorable samples from sources as diverse as the ‘Flash Gordon’ movie, Ennio Morricone’s haunting theme from ‘Once Upon A Time In The West’, Rickie Lee Jones’s talk of ‘Little Fluffy Clouds’, Grace Jones's ‘Slave To The Rhythm’, NASA’s Apollo missions and Minnie Riperton’s soul classic ‘Lovin’ You’, it comes presented in the original landmark artwork - where the use of images of Battersea Power Station made a nod to the Pink Floyd psychedelia of old and collided with a modern ‘90s rave aesthetic.

Condition: BRAND NEW - SEALED  Cover shows a very small and very light crease on front top left corner and a similar one on rear top left corner. Otherwise MINT.

I grade the records visually but strictly. Gradings are according to UK Record Collector's magazine grading system. The standard condition categories and a description of what each ones means are listed below. Please take a look.

MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or detorioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Thanks for looking! Please see my other auctions too!
