Description
Original 1968 U.S. stereo press of LP on Acta label
The Other Half ( self titled)
CONDITION:
cover: VG+
lite shelf wear/soiling/fading ~ lite wear to edges & corners
top edge at opening is neatly taped with cello
vinyl: VG+(+)
clean & glossy ~ 4 or 5 lite surface scratches per side~
& a bit of lite groove wear on a few cuts ~
all superficial surface ~ nothing deep ~ no affect on play ~
plays excellent with the odd occasional soft click &
very lite occasional lite crackle
Here’s a bit of the review of the group & the LP cuts from
Joynson’s psych reference "Fuzz, Acid & Flowers"
…. composed of original numbers aside from an interesting version
of Arthur Lee's Feathered Fish. Holden's fine psychedelic guitar work
stands out throughout and is at its best on Morning Fire plus the finale
What Can I Do For You?. Another number, Oz Lee Eaves Drops had an
interesting beat, whilst the band's best known track, the non-LP Mr. Pharmacist,
is a classic psych-punker and well worth checking out.
