THE PATHETIX: LOVE IN DECAY // NIL CARBORUNDUM / WHAT DO YOU EXPECT? TJM RECORDS SMP095/TJM9 UK 1979 7" IN PLAIN SLEEVE AS ISSUED Scarce original 2nd release by great punk band from Nelson, Lancashire (see Mario Panciera's great book 45 Revolutions for more information on band and release) - although it is mentioned that a limited picture sleeve exists (50 copies), the original issue of it is in plain sleeve - the limited green picture sleeve is definitely later (exact date is not known but I am certain that it is really 'later') and produced by band member to promote unsold stock - to my experience the actual sleeve looks more 'modern' than '1979' so I would always consider that the sleeved issue is a later and semi-official one (although the vinyl is the same) and that the original edition is certainly in plain sleeve.

* I'm a collector myself so strict packing policies applied (all records moved out of p/s and put in plain sleeve and all in protective poly sleeve)
