Description
Up for bid is an extremely rare mono LP, "Catch The Plague," by The Plague. This is an original private (self released) press LP (BBT 7777). Here is some extra info from the internet:
"THE PLAGUE - Catch The Plague LP, self released in 1984 "A great example of the true spirit of D.I.Y. punk, the likes of which haven't been heard in many a year. The music here is primitive stripped down punk a la '77-8, recorded at the singer/guitarist's house in two days with vocals sounding like they're coming out of the closet and no remixes... and the results are ten times more honest and relevant than 90% of the stuff produced by various modern "hardcore" cliques. "This is the Punk" says it all" -Jeff Bale, from Maximum Rock'n'Roll, 1984."
LP is VG++, with a couple of faint scuffs on either side. LP is extremely clean and retains a nice gloss. Interior labels are very clean. Etched matrix info reads BBT-7777-A/ BBT-7777-B. Jacket is VG+, with one small split in the center of the top seam about 1/2 inch long. There is light ring wear on the front There is wear on all seams and corners.
