Original 45 on the DECCA RECORDS LABLE cat# F.12006 issue from 1964

A COOL SLOW 'STALKER', AND WITH A CLASSIC (AND REALLY GOOD)
TRAD. COVER ON THE FLIP.
After The ANIMALS hit big with 'House of The Rising Sun', there was a bit more interest among bands for seeking out great blues tunes, not to mention emulating the touring original bluesmen who hit English shores every year back then. For me, it's this flipside that's most interesting - and I think Jimmy Page might *just* have heard this version and been influenced for the Led Zeppelin recording, as they are not too far removed from each other actually.
Not to downplay the 'A' side though, it's the more 'accessible' track and could have been a hit. Merseybeat still ruled the charts in '64 however, and this certainly doesn't compete on that front - thankfully!

The vinyl is in respectable VG+ to VG++ condition, nice shine and a really good player.
The lables grade EX, no stickers, very clean blue and silver.
Initials can be faintly seen on the 'A' side.
