1984 STIFF Records U.K. First Press.

Side A: transmetropolitan / the battle of Brisbane / the auld triangle / waxie’s dargle / boys from the county hell / sea shanty / dark streets of London

Side B: streams of whiskey / poor paddy / dingle regatta / Greenland wharf fisheries / down in the ground where the dead men go / kitty

Vinyl still retains a nice sheen and visually is in excellent condition. Has a light warp but fully play tested plays through with no skips, sticks or jumps and excellent audio throughout. Vinyl visually looks barely played and has minimal marks under the lamp if any a couple of faint hairlines. Labels are clean and complete with no stickers or writing and no spindle wear to the centres. Plain white inner sleeve. Outer original sleeve has no splits, stickers or writing and a readable thin spine. Light wear and light marks in well looked after condition overall.

Side A: London girl a rainy night in soho

Side B: the body of an American / planxty Noel hill

1986 STIFF Records BUYIT 243 Stereo none barcode sleeve.

Vinyl has been well looked after and still retains a nice sheen. This one has no warp and looks barely played. Fully play tested plays through with no skips, sticks or jumps and excellent audio and production throughout. Minimal wear couple of light hairlines under the lamp in nice shape overall. Labels are clean and complete with no stickers or writing and no spindle wear to the centres. Plain white inner sleeve. Outer sleeve is still in shrink wrap with an old Virgin Records price sticker on the shrink wrap. Excellent all round original shape with minimal wear.

Vinyl visually is in excellent condition looking barely played. All records are fully and properly play tested through headphones unless otherwise stated or still sealed.. All vinyl is also inspected under a bright halogen lamp and carefully graded.. Any flaws will be highlighted in the description hence the instructions to read the descriptions carefully.. I use the standard U.K. record collector grading system appreciating that opinions differ.. I never add more than one + or - to my gradings and never grade a record as M unless it’s bought new by myself and still sealed. Even then an M graded record is extremely rare in anyone’s grading system.

Vinyl is graded first then labels, outer / inner sleeves, posters inserts etc. Vinyl is always separated from sleeve in transit. Record will come in a PVC protective sleeve with a new anti static inner sleeve when the inner is printed or a new one is required. Posted with new record stiffeners in sturdy vinyl mailer. Vinyl is ALWAYS posted signed for, insured with proof of postage also retained. Any international postage is also ALWAYS signed for, tracked and with healthy insurance.

Vinyl can be combined, up to three thin spine or two wide spine per mailer. Spine size is generally stated in my listings to give buyers an idea of potential postage combining. I always provide new mailers / packing material etc. If you wish to combine postage please just drop me a mail stating your intentions thank you..
