"Red Roses For Me" is the debut album by the alternative, folk and Celtic rock band The Pogues. It was released in
October, 1984. The Pogues were the exception to the current rock rules by playing traditional Irish and Celtic music
with an alternative, punk rock twist to it. The album had great reviews by the British music critics that hailed it as a
breath of fresh air. The topics from their songs, be it originals or traditional folk, usually deal with drinking, fighting,
celebrating and sex! It is rowdy album full of intoxicating music and just plain fun!!!

Condition:
Jacket: VG+ The jacket is in excellent shape except for a few minor flaws. There seems to be a scrape in the upper
right corner (see photo). It does not drastically deter from the overall appearance of the cover. There
is also a name written lightly on the back side of the cover under the side 2 track listing (see photo).
There are just a few creases and inconsequential bumps here and there. The jacket is just fine.
Vinyl: VG++ The vinyl is very clear and vivid. At first glance it looks near mint. Under close observation a few
light marks can be seen. The sound quality is just fine!
