Description
THE PRETENDERS 2 LP LOT
Crissie Hynde formed The Pretenders in 1978 in Hereford, England, as Britain emerged from its post punk period.
Both LPs are first US pressings on the Sire label, in similar superb condition ... with clean NM wax that plays "like new" ... and beautiful NM- jackets.
Both include their original custom inner sleeves (with artwork, photos and credits), in NM- condition, flawed only by routine inner sleeve seam splits.
1) "Self-Titled" ("S/T") Sire SRK 6083 (1980)
Nick Lowe produced the band's cover of The Kinks' classic "Stop Your Sobbing".
Wax flawed only by light superficial paper cuffs / hairlines which are visible under bright light but have no impact on sound quality. Labels are clean and bright, look "like new".
Jacket front & back color photos and text are rich, clear and bright.
A small "pea-sized" stain seen in the lower left corner on jacket front.
Solid seams and spine. Minor rub wear on lower seam. No splits.
Spine print is crystal clear.
2) "Learning To Crawl" Sire 1-23980 (1983)
Wax is essentially flawless. Both looks and plays "like new".
Labels are clean and bright, look "like new".
Beautiful, clean NM- jacket, nearly flawless.
Jacket front color artwork and text are rich, clear and bright.
Solid seams and spine, with traces of rub wear. No splits.
Spine print is crystal clear.

My Profile / Policies:
Note: I've qualified for the "Top Rated Plus" seal from eBay, awarded to sellers who consistently deliver outstanding customer service.
Music is my passion. I’ve been a collector for more than 50 years and have thousands of records in my personal collection, focused largely on 50’s and 60’s rock ‘n’ roll. Recently retired, I look to downsize and sell select portions of my collection in hopes of financing future purchases of a few special pieces.
All records I offer are from my personal collection, each cleaned using my Spin Clean MKII record cleaning machine.
Wax is play graded (not just visually graded), employing Goldmine Price Guide standards.
As I take great care to accurately describe my items, I do not accept returns unless my item description is incorrect.
All records are packaged with the wax outside the jacket (to avoid seam split in transit), enclosed in a plastic sleeve and shipped in robust record mailer boxes via USPS Media Mail, tracking included.
International customers pay shipping costs and duties per the eBay Global Shipping Program guidelines.
Payment expected within 2 business days of sale.
