Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my 60’s beat and psych and some 70’s progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare 2nd U.K. STEREO pressing of The Pretty Things – S.F. Sorrow on the SILVER / BLACK Columbia label with ONE EMI BOX and SOLD IN U.K. statement on the bottom of the label, cat. no. SCX 6306, dating from 1969.
The record is in VG minus to VG condition; there are some non-sounding marks, hairlines and some superficial marks. There are also 4 skips on the first track of side 1 and a couple small marks may sound. Besides these small defects, the record plays through nice. The labels are in VG condition, there are a couple spindle marks and some wear around the spindle hole on both sides.
The gatefold cover is in VG condition; there is a crease in the upper right hand corner and the spine has some bald spots. Besides mentioned defects, this cover looks very presentable; no writing, no rips or tears or other unwanted damage.
Although there are some defects, this is a very rare 2nd U.K. STEREO pressing of The Pertty Things’ S.F. Sorrow album with only ONE EMI BOX and SOLD IN U.K. statement on the bottom of the labels. These labels were only used for a very short period of time (only 2 or 3 months I am correct). A must have for all Pretty Things Fans!

Within the European Union, the postage costs are £ 8.75, outside the E.U. £ 16.00 (sorry, but postage rates in the Netherlands are very high). Payment within 7 days after the auction has ended.
Please also note that the shipping costs are the same for 1 LP as for up to 5 LPs (the Dutch postal services charges the same amount up to 2KGs) So If you buy more, the shipping costs for your other LP’s are basically for free.
