LABEL: Columbia YEAR OF RELEASE: 1967 CAT. NO: DB 8300 OTHER DETAILS: UK FIRST PRESS WITH 4 PRONG CENTRE INTACT...KT STAMP SIDE 2, "SOLD IN UK..." TEXT TO BOTH CENTRES. MATRIX NO'S: 7XCA 30138-2 & 7XCA 30139-1
VINYL: VG...has visible scuff marks but it still retains a beautiful original black sheen !!
AUDIO: VG+ overall...plays with no skips or jumps,....overall a really fantastic listen!!
SLEEVE: EX...RED COLUMBIA
WITH ADVERTISEMENT TO REAR!!
LABELS: EX very nice and clean!!?
GRADING: I AM NO EXPERT BUT TRY AND GRADE AS HONESTLY AS POSSIBLE...WITH PLUS (+) AND MINUS (-) IF THE CONDITION FALLS BETWEEN TWO GRADES.
Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
