RARE original UK first pressing of The Raincoats` debut single "Fairytale In The Supermarket" b/w "In Love" and "Adventure Close To Home" on Rough Trade Records (April 1979).
An exemplary lesson on new wave`s do-it-yourself ethos, it obviously doesn`t necessarily take the proverbial balls to sing and play in The Raincoats` style and consider the result worthy of release to a wider public...

This single stems from a small collection of 7" pearls picked up at the closing-down sale of a local record store. All singles are from old store stock and have been in (dry, safe) storage since the store owner originally acquired them from Rough Trade UK distribution at the time of original release, i.e. in 1978 and 1979! 
This might well be the last time you see these items in MINT UNPLAYED condition - so please bid wisely and with confidence!
