This is a A RARE TEST PRESSING PUNK / DIY album by the band THE RAINCOATS from 1979, ORIGINAL UK TEST PRESSING AND A MUST !!!
This is a very rare TEST PRESSING of which only a handful of copies ever made 31 years ago and even the normal pressing of this album is hard to find !!!
This was THE RAINCOATS first self titles album released in 1979 on ROUGH TRADE RECORDS, catalogue number ROUGH 3, although the hand written notes on side B say: RAINCOATS / ROUGH 3 / 19-3-80.
The dead wax etchings are:
SIDE 1: ROUGH 3 A-1 / A PORKY PRIME CUT / DOING ONES MENDING BY ONESELF.
SIDE 2: ROUGH 3 B-1 / SEW WHAT?.
The tracks are:
SIDE 1 - NO SIDE TO FALL IN / ADVENTURES CLOSE TO HOME 1 / OFF DUTY TRIP / BLACK AND WHITE / LOLA.
SIDE 2 - THE VOID / LIFE ON THE LINE / YOU'RE A MILLION / IN LOVE / NO LOOKING.
This TEST PRESSING never came with a P/S and plain white labels, with HAND WRITTEN NOTES ON SIDE B. ONLY and the condition of the VINYL is: SIDE 1 is VG+++, SIDE 2 is in VG/VG+ condition (only some paper scuffs which DO NOT affect play !!!).
DON'T LET THIS RARE PUNK / DIY TEST PRESSING album get away as you will never see another and especially not in this condition.
