Description

Here is a super rare gem! This band is very much associated with Nick Sandro's famous Cafe Trevi in California, where Ben Harper has been known to play. They are most famous for appearing as the backing band for Ben Harper's song "Suzie Blue." This record has no label name, no date, and I found zero information on it after a thorough 30 minute search on google. I could not find another copy of someone else selling, or having sold it. Nothing! I am guessing that it is self-pressed, and that there are not many copies of it in existence. The music itself is beautiful, they even do a dixieland jazz style Zappa cover! The cover is VG+, still in shrink wrap; The vinyl is VG+, borderline NM; Credits: R.G. Barnes- washboard, vocals; Jim Bogen- clarinet; Mike Fay- banjo; Pope Firman- bass, vocals; Produced and recorded at Studio Nadine by Chris Darrow; also credited are The Fabulous Expressos- Pope Firman, Nick Sandro, Jim Shirey
