THE REDUCERS- THINGS GO WRONG / WE ARE NORMAL - 7".
VIBES RECORDS. VR001. 1978. MATRIX: VR 001A/B.
CONDITION: EX / EX+. The flimsy paper picture sleeve has some light finger / dirt marks, the mouth is a little buffed in places with a few small knicks seen along this edge. The corners have very light creasing or curving. Otherwise fine, no edge splits which is very unusual, Not far of as good as you will find this and comfortably in collectors condition. Please check the pictures on SS as you will see one edge has come unglued and can be reglued leaving no mark.
Both labels look immaculate, under a very strong light a couple of tiny spindle trails can just be seen. The centre hole shows no signs of wear and was very tight when placing on my deck, this may indicate this has indeed been played a couple of times only.
The vinyl retains its brand new shine, under a strong light four very, very light scratches can just be made out on side one, side two is immaculate. I have test played this through both sides and found the audio to be superb. The above mentioned scratches are completely non-audible, other than a couple of very quiet crackles heard at the very beginning of side one I heard no feckling whatsoever.
No doubt played a couple of times only, superb audio and certainly much better than graded, close to, if not MINT. I always down-grade from near mint if a surface mark can be seen, despite it being non-audible.
