THE REINER SOUND -
Rca LSC-2183 – SD -
STUNNING! –
Recommended by TAS
A wonderful disc beginning to end, offering up Layton/Mohr recordings of Reiner during his famous tenure with the Chicago.
Selections include Ravel's RAPSODIE ESPAGNOLE, PAVAN FOR A DEAD PRINCESS, and Rachmaninoff's ISLE OF THE DEAD.
A fine prize, worthy of any audiophile/music lover's library, here in a cover without major fault; record inside should play near mint.
For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.
Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
