1966/Canada/Epic Records BN 26214….. here’s a gorgeous clean original pressing of this legendary garage punk lp. One of the best from the sixties! The cover is in the shrink and in clean M- condition, the cover is solid and clean with no splits or delete. The vinyl is in glossy M- condition and only has been played a handful of times carefully by me since opened! A TOP copy of this Rare lp! And in such condition! The stamped Matrix numbers on both sides are XSB 114861-1A. Please check my auctions for other psych, garage and rock lp’s. Good luck and thanks for looking!
The Remains were from Boston, Massachusetts, led by Barry Tashian. The Remains performed in Boston in 1964 and 1965, playing The Rathskeller where fans lined up from Kenmore Square to Fenway Park to see them. They are best known for being one of the opening acts of The Beatles' final US tour in 1966. Although associated with the garage rock scene, the Remains were highly accomplished professional musicians and their recordings, while hard-edged, are notably well-produced and arranged. The band enjoyed a local hit with their version of the Bo Diddley/Willie Dixon classic "Diddy Wah Diddy". Despite considerable local success and strong critical acclaim (including an appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show), the band failed to break through on a national level and folded in late 1966. However, in common with many of their garage rock contemporaries, the Remains gradually acquired a cult status.

GRADING
MINT: I consider only New Unplayed or Sealed items.
M- or Mint Minus, very clean with clean visual appearance and sound, there may be a couple of light inaudible hairline scuffs or such and will be mentioned in the listing, a Mint- record looks and plays clean. Same for the cover. Very clean with no delete or other issues.
EXCELLENT: still very collectable for most, visually and sonicly clean. A handful of light inaudible scuffs, or hairlines. Cover will be clean with little wear, or delete. No splits.
VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal wear, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have a few minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much. Cover will have slight shelf wear, and or delete, minor split.
VG+ the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects.
