COVER GRADE: VG++

COMMENTS:  Vinyl looks almost perfect - from personal collection. No ring-wear on outer sleeve; no seam splits; bottom left corner has SMALL crease but barely noticeable (but I am very picky so I have to mention it :) Inner plastic sleeve is original.  I have owned this record since it was released and I know that I have only played it once so the vinyl is near mint.  If you buy this record and disagree with any of these statements, I will happily refund your money.

MY GRADING SYSTEM AND SHIPPING INFO:

(I am VERY picky about my LP’s so you will never see me grading anything in MINT – to me a NM grade is the highest I am willing to go.)

MINT (M)   Absolutely perfect in every way. Certainly never been played, possibly even still sealed but even brand new records may have some flaws.  I have never seen or sold something that I claim to be in MINT condition. You should be careful about buying an album that is claimed to be in this state.

NEAR MINT (NM or M-)   A nearly perfect record.  No obvious signs of wear on the vinyl. Plays perfectly.  LP cover will have no creases, folds, seam splits or other noticeable similar defects. No cut-out holes.  The same should be true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves, etc.

VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS (VG++)  This is normally where I start with most albums. Since most of what I sell is from the ‘80’s and ‘90’s I don’t expect to see many 20 – 30 year old albums without some sort of wear and tear. Disc plays near perfectly – with only very minor pops or noise - may have minor paper scuffs that do not interfere with the sound quality and does not affect play. Vinyl is bright and shiny; label is clean and unmarked and has only very slight shelf-wear. 

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+)  The record may show some signs that it was played and otherwise no apparent scratches. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was a promo or a cut-out but will be noted in the comments. Picture sleeves and LP inner sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned up corners, or a slight seam split.

VERY GOOD (VG)   The record qualifies as playable and worth collecting but NOT in the best shape for those who are VERY particular. Some surface noise will be evident upon playing, labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers.

Good (G), Good Plus (G+)   A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear.
A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the object.

Poor (P), Fair (F)    I don’t sell anything in POOR condition unless there is some particular demand for a title and I happen to have it.  It will be duly noted that it is in poor condition!!

Domestic Shipping:  USPS Media Mail $4.00 per record (ships in a cardboard LP mailer).  Buyer may chose a different method of shipping at an extra cost – just ask.  Buyer may also choose to buy insurance but it is not required.
