Have a rather scarce, 1978 2nd press, of The Residents "Duck Stab! - Buster & Glen" on Ralph Records RR0278.  Only 40k of these were pressed following the initial 1st press of 100k.  Vinyl is NM-, shiny, no scratches seen.  Cover is EX/VG, very slight rim ring, intact, no writing, some edge shelf wear.  Nice collectible LP.

This second pressing of over 40,000 came out immediately following the first pressing. The difference in the two is that on the 'Duck Stab' sleeve, the boxes with song titles are yellow, rather than green.  The seven songs on the DUCK STAB side of this LP were previously released as an EP (RR1177)
.The Residents are an experimental music group from San Francisco, USA. Never giving interviews and only appearing on stage in disguise their identities have always been shrouded in mystery. There is a common belief among fans that their spokespersons and managersCryptic Corporation, The aka Homer Flynn and Hardy Fox, are in fact The Residents, although neither have confirmed this and to this day deny it. The veil of lies and deceit continues........
'Uncle Willie's Highly Opinionated Guide To The Residents' puts it like this: 
"It's said that the thing one never forgets about a person is their gender.
THE RESIDENTS are genderless.
The next most memorable feature is the face.
THE RESIDENTS are faceless.
The third thing we remember is personality.
THE RESIDENTS have no personalities."
Matt Groening, creator of "The Simpsons" and "Life In Hell" puts it this way: "There is no true story of The Residents. You should know that right off. The secrets of The Residents will never be revealed by anyone but The Residents themselves, and so far they aren't saying much. [...] Part of what The Residents are about is their camouflage, and any understanding of them must take into account both their organized sounds and their organized silence."
One fact is the origin of the name : they mailed a tape in May 1971 to Hal Haverstadt of Warner Brothers Records, in a bold attempt by the anonymous group to secure a recording contract with that company. Hal mailed the tape back months later with a short rejection notice addressed to 'Residents' -- hence the group's name.
Over the years the group have worked with numerous guest musicians and vocalists, most notably Snakefinger (1969-1987), Eric Drew Feldman (1982-2004), Joshua Raoul Brody (1982-present), Molly Harvey (1994-2005), Carla Fabrizio (1998-present) and Nolan Cook(2002-present)
ALL RECORDS ARE MAILED IN A HARD CARDBOARD MAILER DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR RECORDS. THE RECORDS ARE REMOVED FROM THE JACKETS PRIOR TO SHIPPING ON ALL UNSEALED RECORDS. ALL RECORDS ARE WRAPPED IN BUBBLE WRAP AND COVERED IN PLASTIC.

Disc
M = Mint Condition - The record has no surface marks whatsoever, it is thoroughly clean and appears unused and pristine. It is As New.
NM = Near Mint Condition - The record is virtually perfect, but there are very slight signs of marks, which are so light that they will have no effect on the quality of playback. It is almost As New.
EX = Excellent Condition - The record has slight marks, and has perhaps been played a few times. There should however be no reduction in the quality of playback.
VG = Very Good Condition - The record has some surface marks and has obviously been played many times. The record is still clean but the marks may perhaps effect the playback but only slightly.
G = Good Condition - The record has some surface marks and has obviously been played many times. The record is still clean but the marks may perhaps effect the playback but only slightly.
F = Fair Condition - The record has some scratches and has obviously been played many times. The record is still fairly clean but the scratches will effect the playback.
Sleeve
NM = Near Mint Condition - The cover is virtually perfect with only very tiny marks, scuffing,creasing, but no handwriting, splits or tears. It is almost As New.
EX = Excellent Condition - The cover has some slight marks, scuffs and creasing, but no handwriting and no splits or tears. It is complete and is still in collectible condition.
VG = Very Good Condition - The cover has obvious signs of wear with some creasing, marks, scuffing. It is complete and is still worthy for a collection.
G = Good Condition - The cover has obvious signs of wear with some creasing, marks, scuffing, and some splitting at the edges. It is complete and is still worthy of a collection.
F = Fair Condition - The cover has considerable signs of wear and creasing, marks, scuffing, and some splitting at the edges. It is complete and is still worthy a collection.
