VINYL is EX+ / VG(+)
Full Gloss Vinyl is extremely clean both sides. SIDE ONE is EX+ with a very few inaudible, tiny faint surface marks, barely visible under Hard Bright Light. SIDE TWO is VG/VG+ with several non-feelable, inaudible scuffs, mostly at beginning of side. BOTH SIDES PLAY a high EX+ to mostly NEAR MINT. *PLAY-TESTED both sides*. Labels are Pristine both sides.

COVER is EX+
Crisp, straight and vivid textured cover is NEAR MINT except for slightly bumped (still sharp) corner-tips. No wear, creases, writing or soil. All edges straight, all corners sharp. Seams and spine 100% intact with no splits. Spine titles are sharp, clear and completely legible.

Disc labels only give the Title Name of the side.
Runout grooves have no label numbers, only an abbreviation for each title track (SWA, VEG) etched in the Dead Wax.
Durations are not listed on the release.

*Next Edition and later had plain white carrot - and  “A DIVISION OF CRYPTIC CORP” printed at bottom front, replacing the “FIRST PRESSING - 1000 DISCS” text from the 1st pressing.

BACK Cover and Label art were also completely different on the 2nd and later pressings.

• The carrot that Dick Clark (no, that's not Hitler) is holding in his left hand is colored orange and green on this First Press limited edition cover, and was plain white on next pressing.

A piece of history really, as this is where lo-fi began, the mash-up basically began, just as sampling would begin with the Residents' 1977 plunderphonic single "Beyond the Valley of A Day in the Life”.

A parody of many many top 40 hits, performed in hilarious dire deconstructed fashion, and somehow providing a critique that equates pop music with fascism...not the last time anybody has made that connection. All you need is a sense of humor and an appreciation for the brilliantly absurd, and you'll know everything you need to know to successfully operate this strange device.

who was a DJ at the Radio Station I co-founded in the 1970's - and who worked for me at my California record store in the '70s and '80s. . Sadly he has now left this mortal coil, bequeathing me his deep Vinyl Mine.
