Up for auction is a very nice copy of the rare new wave/punk classic album by The Revillos! "Attack!" original released on Superville Records (SV4001) in 1978,
-Guaranteed original First U.K. pressing, not reissue -First Pressing "A-1"/"B-1" in run-out matrix -Matrix also reads, "A Porky Prime Cut" -Deep groove "dished" red labels -Includes original plain paper U.K. inner sleeve -No UPC/bar code on cover
Note: This album was withdrawn from stores after it first went on sale. Thus, very few original copies ever come up for sale. One of the truly rare New Wave albums!
Condition: The cover is in beautiful condition, still retains original shine. No significant signs of age or wear. Just a hint of rubbing on the front top middle (hard to see), but no ring wear. Seams are strong, no splits, edges clean. Corners are sharp, not bumped, tiny hint of rub on a couple corners. Grade: Near Mint Minus (NM-), much nicer than VG+ covers.
The vinyl is in beautiful condition, retains its original high gloss shine and luster. No obvious scratches, no scuffs, just a few faint hairlines from having been taken out of paper inner sleeve a few times. Labels are clean. This record looks like it's been played maybe once or twice at most, very well-preserved. I've had this record in my archive for 30 years un-played. Grade the vinyl Near Mint Minus (NM-), much nicer than VG+ copies.
