Description
THE REZILLOS Can’t Stand The Rezillos hails from 2018 and is a SEALED Yellow Vinyl LP. Glasgow's The Rezillos burst onto the music scene with a shared love of '60s garage rock, injecting the Spector-esque girl group voice of The Shangri Las with an inimitable molten attitude and a unique brand of punk rock and roll. Their off-kilter three minute sparkling pop gems and unique visual style was steeped in a culture of bad boys, bad girls, bad movies and great rock and roll. Recorded at New York's famed Power Station studio, their landmark 1978 debut Can't Stand the Rezillos shot to the Top 10 in the UK album chart, propelled by hit single "Top of the Pops" and quirky covers of Fleetwood Mac, Dave Clark Five and Gerry & the Pacemakers. Captivating and upbeat, it's essential first-wave punk that promises a good time with every spin. Mastered for vinyl by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio and manufactured at Pallas in Germany complete with a faithful, yet updated rendering of the original artwork.
