TITLE/ARTIST: Please continue to check out all current and future listings as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale - 45's, Pic Sleeves, EP's and LP's from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all "oldies" and all in great condition! Here is one of those great '60's LP`s by one of the earliest "surfin'/hotrod" groups, The Rip Chords - apparently on the original, "360 Sound", Columbia Label, in STEREO from 1964. The group was composed of three guys, two of who were soon to be major record producer Terry Melcher and later to be Beach Boys, Bruce Johnston. The music was certainly of the hot rod/surfin' genre and includes their hit single, "Three Window Coupe" among others. FYI, the LP cover is even more interested as a sexy, bikini clad girl walks past the group standing around a beautiful, classic, old "woody" (check it out above)!! The album - the group's 2nd and last - is STILL SEALED in it's original shrink wrap (see all the pics above). JACKET, VINYL & LABEL INFO: This entire Columbia Records, still sealed package (CS 9016) has to be perfect since it was never opened - it's still brand new some 50+ years later - LOL.. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this collectible Rip Chords LP is in perfect, brand new condition - so please have at it and continue to check this site for more great conditioned "oldies" from my personal collection. As I have already mentioned, over time I am selling off my entire collection, and there are 100's more to get to yet -- of all genre's, sizes, and varieties. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$23.00 for the 1st LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that.
