Description
THE RISE AND FALL OF ZIGGY STARDUST AND THE SPIDERS FROM MARS
Here we have a really beautiful example of an original UK
1st pressing of the iconic ZIGGY STARDUST Album
In the original "Printed in England by Robert Stace" Sleeve
with Paper lyric/picture inner sleeve.
Grading (visual)
LP Disc - The vinyl looks wonderful, a gorgeous black sheen to it. A few hairline whisps which is to be expected on a 50 year old LP.
As I consider only new & unplayed records can be labeled as mint, I would grade this as EX/EX+
Sleeve - The sleeve is quite wonderful. No splits or tears or scuffs. A little storage wear on the two corners of the opening (very minor). As with all 1st pressings of the album, it has the renowned paste over top right corner. The rear states “A GEM PRODUCTION” (NO MAINMAN). It’s almost as good as the day it was released. The very delicate inner paper sleeve is complete, no tears or splits and includes the “A Gem Production” credit. Spine is unscuffed and prominent (see pics)
I would grade this as EX/EX+
LP Labels - Beautiful shiny glossy labels that came with the 1st pressing.
Titanic Music/Chrysalis Music. A Gem Production (NO MAINMAN)
Matrix No's - BGBS 0864-1E / BGBS 0865-1E (Stamped)
