TITLE/ARTIST: Please continue to check out all current and future listings as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale - 45's, Pic Sleeves, EP's and LP's from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all "oldies" and all in great condition! This ultra rare and highly collectible LP is another one of those early '60's albums by the talented, but short lived, group, The Rivieras, on the original, although somewhat obscure, USA Label, in MONO from 1964. This was the group's 1st, and only, LP release and includes their hit song, "California Sun" plus 11 other great songs (see pictures above for all song titles and more). It is yet another album in outstanding, overall condition - especially the vinyl. LABEL INFO: This original, light blue colored, USA Label (LP-102) is mostly excellent, but there is a letter ("M") marked lightly in a crayon like material at the top of one side only (see pics). Otherwise though, I don't even see any few spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very little actual play time. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is super shiny, clean, and nice with absolutely nothing in need of any mention at all. In my opinion, the vinyl looks about as good as the day it was 1st purchased, and supports the theory that it was likely played very sparingly. JACKET INFO: And finally, the jacket is also in very good overall shape, especially the all important front side - I really see no flaws at all on the front, but there are signs of aging or "wear" along the outside edges of the backside. Also, a previous owner did write across part of the top left corner on this back side. Otherwise though, it too is just fine (see pics again). INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this early and super rare '60's LP really is in excellent overall condition - so please have at it and continue to check this site for more great conditioned "oldies" from my personal collection. As I have already mentioned, over time I am selling off my entire collection, and there are 100's more to get to yet -- of all genre's, sizes, and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So again, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time.
