Issued in 1966, here's a stunning and extremely rare and hard to find original UK demo copy of this Nick Ashford & Valerie Simpson penned classic from THE RIVINGTONS with "A ROSE GROWING IN THE RUINS" on the UK CBS imprint # 202088 and backed with "TEND TO BUSINESS".
This copy plays superbly throughout with top audible quality and remains in mint minus condition with very light sleeve rubs and just a trace of light crackle on the run-in and run-out groove. It has the 4-prong centre intact and the labels are very clean on both sides with little evidence of spindle wear. Still paired with an original company sleeve making this a top copy for the DJ or collector (see picture scans).
