THE ROLLING STONES - "12 X 5"
THIS IS THE ROLLING STONES SECOND RECORD ISSUED IN 1965. IT IS A 1ST PRESSING DECCA (LONDON) RECORD.
IT IS A 1ST PRESS EARLY MONO VERSION (RARER THAN THE STEREO VERSIONS) WITH THE MAROON "LONDON LONG PLAYING" LABEL.
LP VINYL ALBUM COVER IS IN Vg+ CONDITION. THERE IS EDGE AND CORNER WEAR ALONG WITH RECORD RING WEAR ON THE FRONT BUT STILL IN VERY GOOD OVERALL CONDITION FOR AN ALBUM PRODUCED IN 1965 THAT IS NOW 61 YEARS OLD. IT HAS NO RIPS, TEARS, OR SEAM SPLITS. IT HAS VERY MINOR AGE MELLOWING ON THE REVERSE. THE ORGINAL RECORD JACKET IS INCLUDED AND IS IN EXCELLANT SHAPE.
THE VINYL LP IS IN Vg++ CONDITION (VERY CLOSE TO AN Ex-). IT IS BRIGHT AND GLOSSY WITH NO BLEMISHES. IT IS A BEAUTIFUL RECORD AND MORE VALUABLE BECAUSE OF IT'S 1ST PRESS MONO EDITION.
RECORD IS NOW STORED SEPERATELY FROM ALBUM COVER AND LONDON RECORDS FACTORY PAPER SLEEVE. THE ALBUM WILL BE SAFETLY PACKAGED AND SHIPPED IN A PROFESSIONAL MADE LP RECORD BOX WITH EXTRA PROTECTION.

Back sleeve misspells the song 'Congratulations' as 'Congradulations'. This is corrected on the disc label.
Copies exist with round "PROMOTION COPY NOT FOR SALE" stickers on back sleeve (and with both inner and outer rings on the stock labels). See Images.
Late 1964 pressing on the maroon, "unboxed" London label (see pictures). The earliest 1964 pressings were on London FFRR label, with discs that were actually pressed in the UK. These "second" pressings were actually the first pressings of this (US) LP to be manufactured in the US. There is some debate as to whether these dark maroon US records were manufactured at the same time as "first editions" pressed in England (note promos, here).
The initial B-side runout matrix number was incorrectly written as ARL-6394-1A and corrected with a "4" heavily scribed over the "3", but then the correct matrix was repeated 120° clockwise.
