Description

  • The Rolling Stones released the studio album "Aftermath" in 1966. Bolstered by singles "Mother's Little Helper" and "Paint It Black" the album quickly topped the charts in both the U.K. and U.S. 

  • This copy is from the first pressing in 1966 (London PS476) and is in excellent condition in part because it is still in its original shrink wrap. I grade both the vinyl and album cover as VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl.

  • In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.

  • Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.

  • This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 44 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
