Description

  • The Rolling Stones released their fifth U.S. studio album "December's Children (and everybody's)" in December 1965. It featured the groups second No. 1 single with the iconic track "Get Off My Cloud."

  • This rare copy on London Records (LL 3451) is over 55 years old and is from the first pressing. It is in glorious Mono which many people think sounds superior to the version that was later remixed into artificial stereo after the album was recorded. The disc has no skips and plays very cleanly and I rate it VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. The cover is intact and in good shape but I only rate it VG because of the ring wear on the back cover and the name written on the front cover and disc. Please see the pictures. It was pressed at Monarch Record Mfg. Co. in Los Angeles. The Side 1 dead wax is etched ARL-7031-4 (MR) ?8580.

  • In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.

  • Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.

  • This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 55 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
